They are nervous because the Left has finally been caught and a special prosecutor is going to put many of their friends behind bars. The rest will lose their jobs.
Ok, I guess the gloves are off with Joe and Mika. They’ve been back and forth with the president for over a year. Hot and cold, supportive and critical.
If I had to guess I say Mika’s papa is quite concerned the world is changing...
Still, this seems pretty extreme even for Mika.

They don’t know what to do now that we have a Republican president who’s a fighter.
Mika, for decades on end you and your stinking, rotting bunch of elites have lied, either directly or through omission. You have gone from reporting news to regarding yourselves as de facto rulers over the masses. You are a accustomed to using your position to destroy those who disagree with your views.
While your power isn’t over, it is being challenged for the first time and you and your buddies are proving that you aren’t up for the battle. All you know how to do is double down on what got you here in the first place. You are afraid not because you think government is coming after you. You are afraid of losing your elitist status. I imagine the French nobility felt the same way.
So cry, tear up, be scared. But understand this (and you won’t) Trump is nothing. He is a guy who felt like most of us, who saw the rot in the system and happened to run for POTUS. He is us. Take him away and we are still here and we see you and yours for exactly what you are.

Spying is a necessary evil however it should be and must be tightly controlled and regulated. Because not everyone is trustworthy and it is clear that some may use the information to their benefit.

I don’t feel nervous either. In fact, I am feeling empowered for the first time in 28 years. That is, starting with the feckless Presidency of the first Bush.

DavosMan the world over is alarmed. These guys think they actually built a new, superior, sustainable society. I see the members of this new sub-species, like Marie Harf on with Bill Hemmer a few minutes ago, think their usurpation of we Cro-Magnon is perfectly legit and what God and Nature intended.
They behave as if we Cro-Magnon wait for their precious chrysalis to open and their beautiful new butterflies to emerge and we crush them, then pop them in our mouth.
