BREAKING: Trump Meets W/AG Sessions. Obama Wiretapping: “INDICTMENTS"
DC Whispers ^ | 03-04-2016

Posted on 03/04/2017 10:00:35 PM PST by Kevin in California

Various sources have indicated President Trump is meeting this evening in Mara-a-Lago with Attorney General Jeff Sessions to discuss the blockbuster breaking story of former President Barack Obama’s misuse of federal authority to tamper with the 2016 presidential election. Earlier today, intelligence expert Lt. Colonel Tony Schaffer called the revelations a game-changer, and one that might very well lead to indictments against a former president and members of his staff.

I don't think Obama can be prosecuted in a normal criminal court for something that took place while he was president.

Yes he can. Federal prosecutors were preparing to indict Nixon but Ford issued a pardon. If they couldn't prosecute him then why the pardon?

It’s going to take some time just to get a team of lawyers and investigators together who are not sympathetic to Obama/Clinton/Dems and would not include a mole.

Also, they are going to need a team of FBI agents who are not beholden to the Obama/Clinton protectors like Comey and McCabe.

It’ll be a while before any indictments. Job one for the immediate future is making sure no evidence of any crimes by Obama and his team in wiretapping Trump is destroyed.

I hope they can find something to hang on that POS from S.C. Graham and McCain. I really despise both of them as I never have before. Graham’s little stand up comedy routine he pulled at his town hall meeting was the final straw. Get McCain on his trip to Syria, as I’m sure there is something there as well.

Yes he can. It's why Ford pardoned Nixon.

Go for it. Then go after Fast and Furious mass murders. Try and convict all responsible then firing squad required to be shown on FOX and CNN.

The FISA rule is pretty strict....it can only be the Attorney General. But I suspect when you finally get the court to produce the document that they approved...it’ll be some junior guy who signed and submitted it. If Lynch did sign it, she was awful stupid.

That was what struck me odd today. Little Lindsay was speaking out..... figured he had to know something. Has McCain said anything about this?

Exactly. What happens when a sitting president is impeached and convicted is that he is removed from office.

Once removed from office, if the new president wishes the old president can then be prosecuted for any federal crimes that are included in the “high crimes and misdemeanors” he was removed from office for.

Obama is already out of office, so he would be prosecuted as an ordinary defendant in a federal court.
