On Tuesday, President Trump signed the repeal of Barack Obama’s gun ban for Social Security recipients. On Thursday, NBC News reported that Trump had signed a repeal of “gun checks for people with mental illness.”
This is Fake News 101, inasmuch as it takes Trump’s commitment to defend the Second Amendment and reports it as something that endangers the American people by allowing mentally ill persons to acquire guns.

Sounds like more dems would be allowed to get guns, which would be a bad thing.
It makes sense to disarm the mentally ill.
The problem with the Obama’s decree in doing so is that it failed to _adjudicate_ them as such, stripping people of rights on a bureaucratic whim with no actual legal establishment of the condition.
And they ask us why we don't believe them.
My wife helps the battleaxe with her finances, but we're both glad she has a weapon in the house and knows how to use it.
The Dems would have her be defenseless.

Need to downgrade NBC to very fake news.
The nonviolent mentally ill can benefit from self defense along with everyone else. As for the rest of the mentally ill, citizens in a free society are deprived of their rights based on what they have done (can include thrests or plots), rather than what some shrink alleges they might do.
And when Obama let the crazies from Syria come in, the media never said “Obama lets deranged muslims in”.
But racism is ok when it fits the democrat agenda.
So, Ms Megan Kelley, how do you like working where you are required to read lies off the teleprompter?

And it makes no sense to paint with such a broad brush to include SS recipients who ask their kids or anyone else to handle their finances or checkbook simply for reasons of convenience.
The amount of fakenews coming from the media has gone beyond fakenews and should be considered conspiracy to commit sedition.
I’m pretty sure they don’t check to see if you’re a Democrat when you go to buy a gun.

So now NBC employees can exercise their Second Amendment rights, too.

Maybe Sessions will capitulate on this, too, and recuse himself from enforcing the 2nd Amendment. Since that would please Democrats, I suspect that’s Sessions’ next move.
This is NBC, that’s what they do, they always have.
