Doesn't seem quite as compelling as setting up a government spook program to funnel firearms to drug cartels and then lying/stonewalling about the matter after people are killed as a result, does it? I guess some AGs are more equal than others.

Well it’s time to counter-punch by calling a special prosecutor to investigate the Clinton Foundation. We need the offensive RIGHT NOW.
Because that was not the context of the question he was asked. He was asked about people who are a part of the Trump campaign meeting with the Russians, not the generic, did you ever have a meeting with the Russians for any reason. His meeting with the Russians was due to his work in the Senate. He did very little work with the Trump campaign at all and certainly no meetings with Russians about Trump's campaign -- just senate business.
The other “meeting” Sessions had with the Russian ambassador was a diplomatic event where Sessions talked with numerous foreign diplomats including the Russian. This is stretching things a bit.

I just saw some of the latest headlines, tomorrow, we are probably going to hear more this malarkey. Little prayer for the fine and esteemed Jeff Sessions against this modern day witch hunt.

What’s scary is that Dems are way too invested in Russian-gate. They have zero plausible motive and zero evidence, but they keep on. They also have media and Hollywood lackeys invested and ready to strike.
