Not too long ago, Chicago’s bloody gang warfare was restricted to small, concealable handguns. That’s not the case anymore.
The first time 14-year-old Brisa Ramirez remembers hearing rifle fire was when a man was shot dead on a Sunday afternoon outside a Catholic church around the corner from her home in Back of the Yards.
She raises her voice to imitate the sharp, metallic bursts. Ta. Ta. Ta. Ta. Ta. It was a foreign sound even in this neighborhood accustomed to gunfire.
“It wasn’t like a normal (shooting). … It was like something more terrible,” Brisa says. “A noise that you can’t really explain.”
She and others in Davis Square Park took cover against concrete steps across the street from Seward Elementary School, where Brisa had just graduated from eighth grade.
The shooting was one of at least 33 in Back of the Yards and Brighton Park over the past nine months that police believe are tied to semi-automatic rifles as several gangs boost their firepower. At least 46 people have been shot in the attacks, 13 fatally.

Is it officially a no-go zone yet?
The violent crooks have guns. Politicians do all they can to take guns away from non-violent citizens. The only conclusion is that the politicians deliberately leave guns in the hands of violent criminals while trying to take them away from non-violent citizens.
Arrest, Jail and/or execution of violent criminals. Bingo. Violence ends. Chicagoans keep voting in scum like Rahm Emmanuel and what you now have is what you get.
It’s a culture thing. Those in the neighborhoods know who the bad guys are, but won’t “snitch”.
“Back of the Yards” was the site of the old Mayor Daley homestead. It was peaceful in those days.
Daley lived in Bridgeport.
The dindus have brought the Congo to Chicago.
Deport them back to Africa where they belong.
This is intentional. Don’t doubt it for a second.

The prescribed cure from that donkey will (of course) be;
"Take guns away from everybody(!)", ('cuz too many of his peeps are killin' machines-- will kill you for merely dissing, or "shading" them...)
Is it "rascist" to tell the truth about a majority of last few decades Chicago killings? You tell us that, mr's ex-presidents Bronco Bammy, and "W" Bush.
Meanwhile, there are one heck of a lot of black folks who are sort-of stuck in those "communities" who are the prime next potential victims of the cold-blooded, neighborhood menace killin' machines --- who one can't hardly tell where and when they'll go off next.
Lets' not forget those people who want no part of the killings, and have been (in Chicago areas) suffering the most.
Whatever the root causes of the violent, epidemic-like ongoing shoot-em ups;
It sure ain't because of some gun-toting cracker down in Florida, or a cowboy-roughneck kind of guy out in Wyoming who has hunting rifles, and maybe a semi-auto rifle for 'just in case' things turn ugly he'll be able to protect himself, like; -- fight crime -- shoot back.
Those people (who do not live in Chicago) are not the cause of violent murders in Chicago.

Sh*tcago is getting exactly what they deserve! As you say they keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different outcome. I don’t pity them one bit, they deserve to be held up for scorn and ridicule as to how NOT to run a city.

Criminals control the vote count in Chicago. “Criminals” probably includes the entire city and county governments and most of the businesses in Cook County.
Violent murders in Chicago are not seen as a problem by the Ruling Class. If a couple of their gated mansions is successfully penetrated, then we will see something like the National Guard going door to door or/and perhaps some major contracts with the upper class gangs- the Mafia- will be let. The NG would, of course, concentrate on taking guns from honest citizens “to keep them out of the hands of the gangs.”
The Mafia soldiers would find and hit the gang(s) that raided the mansions. It is escalating to local (for now) civil war and is probably being encouraged by Soros et al money.
