George W. Bush on Trump and Russia: 'We all need answers'

Former President George W. Bush said Monday “we all need answers” on the extent of contact between President Donald Trump’s team and the Russian government, and didn’t rule out the idea that a special prosecutor could be necessary to lead an investigation.

The Republican also defended the media’s role in keeping world leaders in check, noting that “power can be addictive,” and warned against immigration policies that could alienate Muslims.

“I am for an immigration policy that’s welcoming and upholds the law,” Bush told NBC’s “Today” show.

Bush’s comments came after a prominent Republican in Congress, Rep. Darrell Issa of California, called for a special prosecutor to investigate whether Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and was in touch with Trump’s top advisers during the campaign. …

Well, that appears to be part of the fifteenth goal of the commies according to Skousen’s “Naked Communist” book: “Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.” And they didn’t settle for just one of them.

George W Bush needs to shut his mouth

8 years of Obama and he didn't offer a word of criticism

Bush screwed the pooch in Iraq by not securing a status of forces agreement before leaving office that would have preserved the hard won peace American soldiers died for and now Iraq is a disaster

His reason was because he did not want to restrict the options of Obama

History has developed in the direction that Bush has become a failed president who took a country to war in the Middle East and won big due to the competence of of our Military but then failed to secure the peace for ego reasons and then sat by and watched his successor destroy the Middle East Without a word of criticism

Now Trump is trying to clean up the mess he made and Bush can't help but criticize him

Bush has no credibility and should stay in the shadows he has relegated himself to over the last 8 years

Remember when Bush spoke out against Obama’s criminal behavior?

Well, nice to know that he has got his priorities straight. /s

Seriously, how about simply: "Upholds the law."

... gwb is a stupid fool. He destroyed our economy. He destroyed the Middle East. If he had never been elected, our country and the world would look totally different. One day when he’s lying in his death bed dying all the faces of his casualties will flash before his eyes. Honestly I’m not sure how this man can sleep at night, or day -— he will answer one day for certain.

This is a planned strategy. Soon the CIA will leak fake Intel that Russia did hack the election and Trump was in on it. Get those guns ready, boys.

“I looked the man in the eye. I found him very straightforward and trustworthy—I was able to get a sense of his soul.”
The derivative phrase is no less strange than the actual one.

"[The new President] deserves my silence. There's plenty of critics in the arena. I think it's time for the ex-president to tap dance off the stage and let the current president have a go at solving the world's problems."

Of course, not a word eight years later about all the problems Obama caused rather than solved.

What further proof is needed? W remained silent during the entirety of Obama's term. The Trump administration is one month old and he wants to play elder statesman.

Uniparty is the Enemy.

Funny how publicly incurious George W. Bush was about the depth and extent of the Saudi and Pakistani roots of the 9/11 attacks. On that, we were deliberately kept in the dark — and still are.

Answer the question: what would Russia have to gain by electing Donald Trump over Hillary?

But really bring on the investigation of election tampering. Let’s start the special prosecutor in California, that hotbed of communism and third world invasion. Then move up the left coast.

Don’t forget about seeking Iran’s help with “stabilizing” Iraq. Yes, he did it before Obama.

Maybe he should have asked someone to look into McCains Russian ties during the 2008 election?

Here is a verified letter the McCain campaign sent to Russia asking for contributions in 2008:

Or, how about Hillary and Obama’s Saudi contributions?
