Some constituents began shouting, “Pray on your own time” and “let’s get on with it” at the chaplain while others chanted, “Separation of church and state

As a local veteran took the stage to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, the crowd continued shouting, “We want answers” and “Do your job,” National Review reported.

Despite the heckling, the veteran managed to remain on stage until he was finished.

They can’t not scream in pain.

Solution:

Venue on private property.

Photo ID, constituents only.

Arrest as necessary.

Prosecute.

It’s way past time to check IDs. These meetings should be for constituents only.

These vaudeville acts used to work, but with the internet and instant video sharing, people are on to the guy behind the curtain. This doesn’t fool ANYONE anymore.

Massive amounts of paid shills are all over the place. More than 50% of Hillary’s Twitter followers are fake as are CNN’s.

The online comments sections of most websites are dominated by paid shills.

Every Townhall should take standard precautions and know what to do in an emergency.

It is the very same phrases every time. It is clear these “protests” are organized and that the protestors are not constituitients.

Surely outright civil war should not be far away when the rights of the many are trampled on by the few.

Prayer and Pledge are a great way to flush out the liberals in the crowd.

Solution - card them when they enter the premises, make them sign in writing with their address. Non-constituents have NO right to be there.

Good idea! Name has to match ID and be from within the district.

Im thinking these people are not “ constituents” and their real identities need to be revealed

I’m think congressmen need to start issuing free tickets to ther meetings using voter rolls or other id to prioritize access to their real constituents

Just ask for ID, check addresses. Simple verification. Non-constituents sit in separated section.

Also, video the sign-in area and send copy to the RNC so that they can face-match with disruptors at other town hall events.

Hey GG2,

The local free newspaper in Athens, Flagpole, is a heavily partisan paper that is constantly attacking Trump and the local congressman, Jody Hice, a great Trump supporter.

Trying to think what can be done. Wondering if a local on-line publication could be started to promote the culture and provide more balance.

I was thinking that an on-line platform like FR could be developed specifically for a small community.

Many senior citizens who are good writers and have time on their hands could be moderators and decide what gets published or not.

And lots of things could be done. Youth columns could be encouraged. The best stories written by high school kids could be featured — and these kids could get the satisfaction of being recognized.

What do you think? What would be the biggest challenge getting something like this going?
