Three people have been injured in the German city of Heidelberg after a man drove a car into a pedestrian area.
The attacker, who was also armed with a knife, was shot and injured by police in a brief standoff after fleeing the scene.
It is not clear what the man's motives were.
In December an attacker drove a lorry into a Christmas market in Berlin, killing 12 people and injuring more than 50.

I visited Heidelberg a few years ago and found it to be delightful. However, that was before the islimic invasion, so it’s very possible it too has succumbed to Third World Cancer.
At 00:58 someone yells “allaku akbar”. I don’t speak German. I wonder what that means.
Things aren’t going to change unless they say what these evil people are and stop letting them in.
According to police, the perpetrator is a young German. Probably it is a student who does not come from Heidelberg...
It is also unclear whether the amok ride is a mentally unstable man or the act has a religious background. According to police officer Norbert Schätzle, there is currently no indication of a terrorist-motivated act.
Mainly, moozlum-infected germany needs to raise it’s driving school standards. Move along...
Locals say: (1) the guy is a local 35-year old university student. (2) No indication of foreign status. (3) Some behavior indicator that he was not acting in an appropriate manner (usually it’s worded like this when he’s nuts or he’s on medication).
Cops reacted quickly (just about every shopping district in Germany has patrols walking the beat)....giving the guy one chance to react, and when he didn’t....they fired a round into him. He’s still alive and will be questioned shortly.
The age thing for a student is typically not normal....but he may simply be a late-in-life college student. Also, it is odd...he rented a car. This is the town where he attends university, so you have to wonder why he had the rental. Unless someone comes up with a better excuse....I think he was just doped up on something.
