We had a few folks (concern trolls) upset that ground hadn’t already been broken - can’t win for winning.....

It sounds like it might be worth something instead. Like I said, I haven’t seen one in ages. Perhaps some antique value?

Any chance that we get a preview of what the wall will look like?

The company or companies who win the contract will have to beef up security at their facilities. You know that as soon as the contracts are awarded, George Soros’ paid protesters will show up outside of the contractor’s offices.

Not as rare as these.

I think Kiewit has a better one, they are a ESOP company, they are a great company and a great contractor.

Apparently this will be on the western portion, El Paso west towards the Pacific Ocean.
This will be a much easier project than when they get to the Texas part along the Rio Grande.
With each mile of border barriers it makes it easier to police the parts without barriers.

IF I WERE IN CHARGE-—
I would put out a call for volunteers-—split them evenly with contractor employees & run 3 shifts around the clock 7 days a week.
I would bet that at least 500,000 persons would VOLUNTEER to halp build the wall.
I would bring in Military cooks & mess tents to feed everybody—around the clock.

Git ‘Er Done!!! Might take less than a year.

IF the Amish can build a VERY large barn with nothing but volunteers in a day-—this should be easy to get volunteers to come help.

Lots of retired people & people out of work. Pay their UNEMPLOYMENT as long as they work on the wall.

IF I WERE IN CHARGE!!!

IF I WERE IN CHARGE:

I would bring in returning military people & use them for security. Pay them accordingly, but let them have wide open rules of engagement....

THEY are already trained.

At $16 Million a mile, that is $3030 per foot.

Seems quite high, INO.

Having volunteers is noble but with something at that magnitude and the engineered work having to be closely watched, "volunteers" would just get in the way and there are way too many (self proclaimed) experts on even the smallest construction jobs.

If you've ever done a remodel you'd know that every friend and relation is an expert.

There are plenty of qualified people that can do the job and could probably use the work. There's no reason to deprive anyone of a job.

OH and you won't need a military cook, they can bring their own lunch.

A penny stock in coal mining with a daily average volume of 1500 shares?

How’s that got anything to do with building a wall?

I am kind of surprised we never hear about min-subs being used to smuggle drugs up the CA coast from Mexico. Never surface, just release the drugs to float to the surface and be brought in by surfers.

Manuel Noriega: I know, I know.. Besides, you know, for this.. [ seductively ] ..you would need a min-i-a-ture sub-ma-rine!
