I guess they were trying it out and it just didn’t play. It’s what all the foreign news outlets use, including UK. I don’t know why the F we’d want to use an Arabic (transliterated of course) language acronym. They (ISIS) do hate it though, they cut the tongues out of people they hear saying it.

Great! There was no good reason for Obozo to be calling them “ISIL” — that gave unwarranted credence to their pretense that they claim all of the “Levant” (includes Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan) when in reality they control only some territory in Syria and Iraq.
