The Swedes are nothing but Turnips and have fallen off the truck.

Maybe they should just import lots and lots of sand to make them feel at home. Camels do live in Mongolia, but why oh why would they bring them to Sweden?? Boy are they DUMB as (ice) rocks up there these days.

They are nasty things. We rode camels in Petra/ Jordan, shamed by the old ladies in our group who were the first ones up! They were covered with fleas, nasty stinky things.

Bactrian camels (two humps) are quite adapted to cold (Mongolia).
Dromedary camels (one hump) are not. They are very ornery critters and like to bite and throw up on those they don’t like.

Rather than import camels for camel herders, why not retrain these guys to herd reindeer? Duh! Or better yet - why not re-import the muzzie camel herders back to the where the camels thrive?

Chaos-riddled Sweden imports camels to give Somali Muslim migrants work and "promote integration" Perhaps the rape attacks on women will decrease.
Without even reading the replies, I just know I'm not the first to guess this.

WWII? Cool, but I would’ve guessed A’stan or Iraq. The North Africa campaign then. Might not be allowed these days...

My Mongolian friend says they have two humped camels there. It gets cold there, so maybe they’re getting Mongolian camels imported.

I hear they make good eating. Can’t picture it, though. Just smoking them, the tobacco keeps getting in your teeth.
