Today, the question is still asked in the context of the always-hoped-for discovery of other worlds like our own, with the thought that maybe, just maybe, we will finally find those aliens.

The two most fruitful methods for discovering exoplanets (the "transit method" and the "radial velocity method") both give a straightforward way to determine the distance between a star and an exoplanet. That, together with our knowledge of how much heat is given off by the star, lets us calculate whether the planet is in the star's habitable zone. But, as we have seen, that is not the same thing as discovering a habitable planet.
Nevertheless, discoveries of planets in the habitable zones of other stars have been identified in the media and even in press releases of scientific institutions as discoveries of second Earths. Since we do not know the surface temperatures of any exoplanet, whether they are actual Earth analogues can only be guessed at using other lines of evidence.

I’ve always wondered if those pictures are real, or just “created” and posted.
If one ever showed-up in my field, I’d have a hard time believing that people could do that, trudging through the field with boards and ropes, over one night ;-)
I think any inspiration is ‘divine’. I think there’s really only one Mind. We just perceive our minds as all ‘separated’ and distinct.

If you truly believe the perfect words of Jesus, you aren’t afraid of anything.
“Jesus” (not his name) didn’t address the issue.
But he told his disciples what to fear; you should read his words without churchian bias to understand him.
I don’t belong to a “church” or follow one. And I think Jesus pretty much addressed EVERY issue, in pretty plain words.
I also don’t think that Jesus cares what we call Him, he only cares that we Love him, in every sense that Love entails.

Some of them are human created. But it is fairly easy to distinguish those.
They say people did it by dragging boards with rope.
If you have seen the closeups of some of these, no board could do it.
