She should be forced to register as a sex offender too.
They aren’t at Brigham Young where they have to sing a morals oath....
I cannot tell you how angry this makes me.
Any woman who makes false accusations of rape should be severely punished-——and publicly shamed.
There will be people who will always remember these young men as accused rapists.

No, not even close. None of them even touched the accuser, much less had consensual sex with her.
Speaking of which, here is an article written for the tenth anniversary of the Duke case.
It's very sympathetic to the accuser (Crystal Mangum), and somewhat sympathetic to the prosecutor in the case (Michael Nifong).
Ms. Mangum was convicted of second-degree murder in 2013, for which she was sentenced to at least 14 years in prison. She says she's innocent of this crime, and says the reason her boyfriend Reginald Daye is dead is because he was abusive toward her.
She was also convicted of "misdemeanor child abuse" and destruction of property in 2010.
According to Crystal Mangum, she is innocent of everything, and is a victim of "the system," and because she "defended herself against an abuser."
She still insists that she was "abused" by the Duke Lacrosse Team.
Michael Nifong was removed from his job as Durham County Prosecutor in 2007; he was also disbarred in that year.
Interestingly, his successor was also removed from office, although for different reasons.
Nifong declared bankruptcy in 2008, listing assets of $240,000 and liabilities of $180 million; most of his liabilities accrued from six $30 million judgments against him, one for each of the six Duke LAX team members he maliciously and unfairly prosecuted.
Many of the convictions Nifong won against other defendants have been thrown out in the years since the Duke LAX case.

We were in a bar. YES a bar... Everyone is ‘suppose’ to be carded at the door so the assumption is EVERYONE is over 21. The younger guy of the group, early 20s, was an IT goon for a colleague. He goes off in the corner and starts kissing on some cute girl who is all over him. We think nothing of him and congratulate him when she finally leaves.
A few days later. He comes in panicked. He finds out she’s only 17 and cuts off all communication. 17 year old girl gets ticked off that he won’t call her and calls the cops. He’s arrested and thrown in jail for 30 days. Doesn’t matter that we all witness nothing more than him kissing her, they didn’t go home together, AND we were in a bar under the assumption that EVERYONE is over 21. He now has to register as a sex offender and has that on his record forever.

This kids’ lives were still wrecked by her allegations. She should pay...
