WASHINGTON – U.S. Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), Ranking Member of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, released the following statement in response to leaked memos from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) implementing President Trump’s controversial executive orders on immigration.
"These guidelines are now the official policy of the Trump Administration, implementing the President's mass deportation Executive Orders. I have called on my counterpart on the Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Chairman John Cornyn, to hold hearings on these orders—we need an immediate public examination in Congress of these heavy-handed, anti-family policies. The Senate should also pass the bill I’ve sponsored to repeal the mass deportation order. The Republican-controlled Congress has an urgent responsibility to do its constitutional duty and act as an independent check on President Trump.”
Hey Durbin - it’s the law. Written by Democrats and signed into law by a Democrat president.

“Mass deportations”? I would say they are just rounding up the criminal element at this time those that get caught up in it.
Durbin was popular before Obama became president.
They’ll get it, too. They’ll judge-shop until they get a homosexual Latino Marxist Left-winger judge to order it, and Trump will bow down just like he bowed to the 9th Circuit. I wish Trump would just tell these people to shut up, but the problem is, mostly people just ignore the fact that the Constitution vests the Executive branch in just one man, not some Department of Homeland Security or Department of “Justice”, but one man: Donald Trump.
Durbin is a lying opportunist. He posed at a conservative when he represented voters in Springfield, Illinois in the state legislature and as a Congressman. He moved from being pro-life and pro-gun to an abortion supporting advocate of gun control when he ran statewide.
He is a turd.
Durbin belongs in a courtroom hearing his sentence after being found guilty of violating his oath of office, subverting the US Government and treason.
Dick Turbin is trying to get the Senate to stop the President from faithfully executing the laws of this country.
