Like any other girl, 16-year-old Jazz Jennings always loved dolls and dresses. But, Jazz wasnt a normal girl she was born a boy.
She is one of the youngest people to be documented as transgender, and it has garnered her a following.
The latest installment of the appreciative fandom is a doll version of the teen.
The Tonner Doll Company, which specializes in adult collectibles and high fashion dolls, is releasing a Jazz Jennings doll that was designed and sculpted by the founder of the company, Robert Tonner.
The doll will come with a pink shirt and jean shorts, mirroring the outfit Jazz wears on the cover of her memoir, Being Jazz: My Life as a (Transgender) Teen.
It debuted at the New York Toy Fair over the weekend.
Jazz stands for everything I respect from a human nature point of view, Tonner said in a statement. Shes incredibly brave, intelligent, warm-hearted and creative.
The company is marketing the doll to children, instead of as an adult collectible.
It has also created a red-carpet ready Jazz doll, wearing a sparkling white ballerina dress.
The dolls will be available for purchase in July.

Wtf is this? A doll cannot be transgender.
(Stealing someone else’s post). Are the dick and other appendages removable? Optional titties? Makeup kit?
“Chaz” and “Katelyn” have both said they’re depressed because they don’t get dates. Well, duuuuuuh.
This child, Jazz’s parents have used HIM for publicity when HE was little and then got a tv series out of it. Now, they’re marketing a doll. There may have been a book deal in there somewhere. HE was taking hormone therapy at a very young age.
There was a student in the news a few days ago who “won” the women’s wrestling championship because the female opponent forfeited. The “winner” was born female, portrays itself as a boy and is on testosterone therapy. But UIL rules state SHE can take testosterone and develop muscles when medically prescribed. Snort, let a boy wrestler pull that and see how fast he gets disqualified. How many girls lost out on their chance to compete in a fair match?
Sadly, it’ll sell very well. More and more parents will be shoving this perversion onto their children.
He is still a boy.
One who has been betrayed by adults.
More likely interchangeable - cuz ,you know, like, gender is “fluid” and stuff, and such, like, ya know?
That’s not a nose!
I can’t believe they made a transgender “woman” doll that looks like a man. Appropriate.
Will they advertise it as a transgender doll?
Good question. They may try to sell it as the newest most hip doll around. A girl who won’t let nature boss her around.
I wondered how they did this, too. If it’s like all other dolls, there is nothing there in the crotch. Being a “transgender” doll, though, do they have to put a bump or something to indicate that? But if they do that, they admit that the doll is really a male. It gets really tricky when one starts denying reality.
