ICE: 949,382 illegals with 'removal orders' still free, raids get just .07%
Washington Examiner ^ | 2/20/17 | Paul Bedard

Despite media reports of a massive crackdown by President Trump on illegal immigrants, just a tiny percentage of the nearly 1 million on the government's deportation list have been arrested, according to statistics provided to Congress.

The 680 seized in recent sweeps by U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement agents represent just .07 percent of the 950,062 with deportation orders as of May 21, 2016.

...

There are an estimated 3 million illegal immigrants with criminal records in addition to their illegal status and the administration has said it will make them a priority for removal. The numbers in the ICE answers could have adjusted but deporting criminal illegals was not a priority in the last months of the Obama administration, ..

Immigration experts said that sanctuary cities are mostly to blame for the huge number of illegal immigrants with deportation orders who are not in custody.

I used to work with a Border Patrol agent whose duties included watching for criminal deportees returning to the area. As soon as he would get a tip on somebody he would immediately go to the DMV (Washington State) because these people had little to fear from the state. Their first stop after coming back was to get a new license. That would get us a current picture, but the addresses were always fake.

“A source in southern Texas told me his coworkers (for the most part long-term illegal aliens) are terrified of being removed from America. They know they broke the law and each day continue to break the law, and more often than not are sending the bulk of their paychecks back to Mexico and other points south of the border.”

1. Raid the business involved, take the illegals and deport them immediately, and arrest the business owner.
2. Determine where the remittances were processed, raid those locations.
3. Send Mexico several tons of condoms and advise them to start using them, because they are, from here on out, going to have to house and feed all of their offspring.
3a. Tell the Catholic Church to get the hell out of Mexico (and the USA for that matter) and take their “policies” on birth control with them. It’s only a policy to try and insure that there is an endless flow of “new Catholics.”

You seem to be missing the point of the article. There are almost a million illegal aliens who have gone thru the judicial process and ordered to leave the country. They never left. The MSM is trying to paint Trump's modest removal efforts as mass deportation, but the fact is that there are almost a million of what are called absconders. They need to be rounded up and deported. Arguing for their staying is indefensible.

This is not an anti-Trump article.

It is unfortunate that many on this thread are missing the point of the article. The author is on our side and he quotes Jessica Vaughn of CIS:

"The question I think people should be asking is, 'Why are there so many criminal aliens who are at large?'" said Jessica M. Vaughan, director of policy studies for the Center for Immigration Studies.

"Why does ICE have to take to the streets to find these people? One reason is because so many criminal aliens have been released by sanctuary policies. If you look at the list of cities where these operations took place, many of them are sanctuaries. ICE has to do these kinds of operations when they are prevented from arresting criminal aliens while they are in jail," she added.

The problem is not just Mexico albeit they facilitate those from Honduras, Guatemala, Ecuador and some other hell holes passage. I was watching a live cop style show Friday night and some girl from one of the hell holes was 8 and half month PG and apprehended by the locals just after leaving the Rio Grande. I yelled out, get her back across that border pronto before we have another anchor here. Of course that did not happen as she and the others were taken into custody. From what I saw there, it has come to need to put up the equal of the Atlantic Wall that Hitler had during WWII. We either stop them at the beach or we lose, it is that simple.

In an area where there are many illegal workers you can go to the local places that
cash payroll checks and issue transfers and probably see some after 3pm or so.

We need to get a Conservative SCOTUS, then have Congress legislatively describe the content of the 14th Amendment and remove any doubt about the fact that it doesn’t confer birthright citizenship for children born to illegals. As it is today, pregnant Mexican women “go shopping” in San Diego when they are ready to “pop,” and ergo they have a little American citizen. And we end up having to cover the cost of the hospital!

Yes I agree we need get that ironed out about the 14th. Will take time unfortunately.

I really want to stress, the anchor issue is a problem but the over riding problem is we have some individuals, groups, and businesses who care not a damn about how we are being invaded. We are allowing free immigration for benefits to usurp the will of the country simply by their numbers. We cannot allow billions or more benefit seekers into this nation to prey upon the approximate 90 million taxpayers. We have got to stop it, we have got to clean out the uninvited. Starting with the felonious ones is a good start but we cannot allow our treasury and savings to be thrown to the horde nor can we allow our culture to be dissipated. Trump is the last chance. He gets stymied, someone else comes and and whatever momentum will have been lost and worse the barbarians will be beyond the gates and taken the storage silos.

we have got to clean out the uninvited.

We have also got to reduce LEGAL IMMIGRATION. We have brought in 35 million legal permanent immigrants since 1990. They are taking American jobs and depressing wages. They also use our welfare system to a much greater degree than the native born. We are importing poverty costing taxpayers billions of dollars.

ALERT! This is the new meme:
“Trump isn’t deporting as many as Obama.”
“Trump’s ICE raids not getting many.”

Everything, and I repeat everything is driven by expectations. We can see the impact of this in the economy and the stock market. Tax cuts haven’t happened, but already the DOW has hit record highs merely upon expectations.

Same here. Illegals fleeing in record numbers to Canada, going back to Me-hee-co. It’s very clear this is humming like a well-tuned engine.

Patience is the guardian of faith.

The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), Pub.L. 99–603, 100 Stat. 3445, enacted November 6, 1986, also known as the Simpson–Mazzoli Act, signed into law by Ronald Reagan is said to have granted amnesty to many of the 3.2 million illegal immigrants living in the United states.
That figure was low.
Twenty years later, the same shills hoping to play the same song, second verse, contend and admit that the figure is 11 million. That figure is low as well.

See what you get by rewarding bad behavior? By the figures they admit the illegal population quadrupled. By that same calculation in another twenty years the figure they would admit could be 44 million. In sum, by their figures there was no justification for another amnesty.

They insisted on using the 11 million figure (that no one believes), hoping to establish that another amnesty would not have that great an impact on the country.
And it is surprising now that they don’t admit the figure is in fact far greater than the arbitrary 11 million they have been pushing since the early 2000s. Their purpose would be to show that deporting them is impracticable.
But they are again, consistently, wrong.

So. First, the illegal who are career criminals—and we’re seeing this now—then the aliens here illegally (as Chuckles put it: “the legal illegals”) who make up the bulk of the population, then finishing up with the DACA illegals and fake refugees.

I think this is why Trump is delaying rescinding Obama’s illegal EO. ICE is addressing the most difficult part first, cutting-in some dangerous hombres, as they should.

A month in office, he’s still trying to complete his cabinet, as usual facing the shadow government/Uniparty obstruction including Schumer and the `rats, that m&#@(*@%r McCain and the relentless #nevertrumpers and the media every minute of the day. Patience all.

Reading and basic non core math skills often go out the window here. Below are the key points being missed by many!:

950,062 with deportation orders.

Its important to remember that all these aliens have already had their due process, their day in court and have been ordered removed. Because they have all absconded and refused to depart the country they don't even have a right to a new bond hearing.

There is nothing further left to adjudicate.

It’s only a policy to try and insure that there is an endless flow of “new Catholics.”

Though it does serve that purpose, remember that there are other Christians and Jews holding the same beliefs regarding birth control.
