Tacoma, WA – A Washington State Patrol Trooper is the focus of an investigation because he notified ICE about a criminal illegal immigrant, just as he had been trained to.
According to Q13 Fox, the incident began on February 9th when the Trooper, who was not identified, did a routine check of a driver’s license during a traffic crash on I-5. That driver’s license belonged to Armando Chavez Corona, whose car was hit during a multi-vehicle collision.
When Corona’s driver’s license was checked, which is standard procedure for officers to do when investigating car crashes, a warning came back from federal authorities that Corona was a deported felon, and that he was wanted for an outstanding felony warrant. The warning asked that federal agents be contacted if Corona was located.
Before you read on, it should be emphasized that this was not just a notification that the subject was an illegal immigrant, it was a notification that this was a criminal felon who is at the top of the priority list for being arrested and deported. These notifications have been around and acted upon for very many years; they are not new. Our Washington State law enforcement sources advised that they had never even heard of any agency failing to take action on these notifications.
The Washington State Trooper then contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to confirm the warning, as he had been trained to do. ICE agents later took Corona into custody. Further research showed that Corona had been deported four times, between 1996 and 2000, and had previously been convicted on a felony cocaine charge.

Yep, leftists can’t have instances of law enforcement officers actually obeying the law go unpunished. That just won’t do!
This is at two way street, IMO. If the states are not going to cooperate with the federal government on immigration detainers then they should lose the right to access these federal databases. DOJ/FBI needs to pull the plug.
They might intimidate him a bit, but won’t dare to take any formal or informal action. That would blow up in liberal faces big-time IMO.

President Trump’s Administration should hire this state trooper to supervise the relationship between Washington State and the federal government regarding Washington State’s support for working with ICE in deporting illegal immigrants. How pissed off would that make Washington State?
It would seem that if he gets any blowback from this whatsoever, it would constitute a crime.

Some state and/or local governments are using aliens to attack the United States via the voting process. The long term goal of these "governments" is to destroy the Constitution of the United States. As far as I am concerned that puts them in rebellion against the lawful government of the United States. They should be dealt with accordingly.

Washington State Democrats want these illegal border crossers to be voters. They are there to be registered as Democrats. They don’t want any deported for any reason.
People who break our laws should be deported on the spot.

How great would it be if Trump woke up tomorrow morning and flew to Washington and held one of his rallies in support of this trooper? He would pick up another million supporters.

Washington State has been diving into wickedness with the Gaystapo support, and now this.
So what’s going on, has Washington State become willfully sanctuary now? There’s sanctuary as in requiring positive notice in order to act (don’t ask, don’t tell) and then there’s sanctuary as in telling DC to just eff off with its requests.
