We first landed on the Moon on July 20, 1969. That’s nearly a half century ago.
We should have had a Moon base by now.
Moon base, hell. We should have had a Mars base.
We went from space exploration to celebrating diversity. You can’t do both.
Much as I would like to ship some of my adult children to Mars ... yes, I’m talking about you, Bill ... what’s the cost/benefit? If we could legally ship slacker young adults to the far reaches, Nevada is a lot cheaper than Mars.
There are reasons why we never went back.
What you said.
