A photo of Comey leaving the meeting was tweeted out at 9:42 am. That means Rubio’s tweet was afterwards providing all timelines for the tweets were set at EST
Well, Schumer wasn’t there, he was voting against Pruitt.. so what time was the EPA vote?
I don’t think the timing would matter. Rubio, like his mentors McCain and Graham, has been eager to gin up a new Cold War rather than wait to see if a new one is inevitable. So his story would be in that direction no matter what he’s seen or when he’s seen it.
Rubio was spouting off to influence public opinion, that’s the sole reason he would be making a statement like that at this point.
