The following op-ed was exclusively provided to Business Insider to coincide with a speech Bill Gates is giving for the Munich Security Conference. The following is an abridged version of his remarks.
When I decided 20 years ago to make global health the focus of my philanthropic work, I didn’t imagine that I’d be speaking at a conference on international security policy. But I’m speaking here at the Munich Security Conference because I believe our worlds are more tightly linked than most people realize.
War zones and other fragile state settings are the most difficult places to eliminate epidemics. They’re also some of the most likely places for them to begin—as we’ve seen with Ebola in Sierra Leone and Liberia, and with cholera in the Congo Basin and the Horn of Africa.
It’s also true that the next epidemic could originate on the computer screen of a terrorist intent on using genetic engineering to create a synthetic version of the smallpox virus . . . or a super contagious and deadly strain of the flu.
The point is, we ignore the link between health security and international security at our peril. Whether it occurs by a quirk of nature or at the hand of a terrorist, epidemiologists say a fast-moving airborne pathogen could kill more than 30 million people in less than a year. And they say there is a reasonable probability the world will experience such an outbreak in the next 10-15 years.

Another good reason to restrict immigration. People from the 3d world are already bringing diseases here and killing Americans via disease.

Gates do other 200 million to eradication of polio. While I don’t agree with his politics I do agree with his position on the disease probabilities.
Let me guess.
“Global health” is going to be the next vehicle for advocates of One World Government, now that “global warming” is running out of steam.
It is what his new world order types are hoping for. need to thin the herd so they can be more manageable.
The solution? Stop producing CO2, from ALL sources, except the Gates fam.

I don’t believe for a minute that his facilities in Africa are studying disease eradication. They’re studying disease weaponization. This guy is totally for sterilization, euthanasia, and Agenda 21.
Looking past the near-term concerns that have plagued population policy at the political level, it is increasingly apparent that the long-term sustainability of civilization will require not just a leveling-off of human numbers as projected over the coming half-century, but a colossal reduction in both population and consumption.
It has become increasingly apparent over the past half-century that there is a growing tension between two seemingly irreconcilable trends. On one hand, moderate to conservative demographic projections indicate that global human numbers will almost certainly reach 9 billion, perhaps more, by mid-21st century. On the other, prudent and increasingly reliable scientific estimates suggest that the Earth's long-term sustainable human carrying capacity, at what might be defined as an "adequate" to "moderately comfortable" developed-world standard of living, may not be much greater than 2 to 3 billion. It may be considerably less, particularly if the normative lifestyle (level of consumption) aspired to is anywhere close to that of the United States.

That there will be a large-scale reduction in global human numbers over the next two or three centuries appears to be inevitable. The primary issue seems to be whether this process will be under conscious human control and (hopefully) relatively benign, or whether it will turn out to be unpredictably chaotic and (perhaps) catastrophic.
I had Windows 7 pro 64x and loved it. When windows 10 came out, I constantly got a pop-up to upgrade to it for free. I ignored the pop-up. One day my pc shutdown and upgraded itself to Windows 10. No joke. I’m too lazy to format and re-install windows 7.
I HATE windows 10 so much.
Bill Gates father and grandfather were both big in the eugenics movement. His grandfather as a progressive in the 20s and father as president of planned parenthood.
This man even gives speeches about and works to combat overpopulation. Since when is he so worried about population reduction, I find it very disingenuous.

Believe what you want. I know for a fact he donated 200mil toward polio eradication. I have no info on eugenics he may be in.
