There are already a couple of smaller cable or Internet programming venues - One America News Network, Newsmax, CRTV, or if you want news with a total backspin, RT, the English language Russian cable feed. And of course, there is also CCTV, the Chinese news feed which has consistently better and less biased reporting than CNN.
I speak only half in jest.
I have watched RT and it’s not bad. It covers a lot of things that aren’t covered by the MSM.
I expect that it, like most bureaucracies, will deteriorate. And if there is ever a need to disseminate pro-Russian propaganda, that would be the place. I wouldn’t depend on it exclusively. But at the moment, it’s pretty good, and it’s also a window into the Russian outlook on the world and the US.
