Jeff Sessions' team takes over Washington
CNN ^ | 02/17/2017 | Tal Kopan

With the ascension of former Sen. Jeff Sessions to attorney general and several of his former staff installed at the White House and federal agencies, immigration policy experts are sensing a sea change in Washington.

Advocates and policy staff of both parties half-jokingly refer to the "Sessions cabal" that has now found power in President Donald Trump's Washington -- a group that for years has found itself outside the mainstream on immigration policy in Washington and faced ire from their Republican and Democratic colleagues for what one sparring partner called "strident" positions.

Jeesh H. Crap! This is a NEWS story?

Really, CNN? It reads like a hit piece. Totally biased.

See, this is why so many of us, from Trump on down, don’t like you.

CNN=VERY Fake News

So, the first paragraph was ok.

The 2nd paragraph started the tainting of Sessions, by smearing him that he doesn’t even get along with his fellow Republicans: “faced ire from their Republican [and Democratic] colleagues..”

3rd paragraph taints Sessions as a hater of immigrants.

4th paragraph says that Sessions was recently working “without the knowledge of other rank and file and leadership at DHS,” to try to show that Sessions isn’t even mainstream within his own party and with Trump.

The 5th paragraph is a restatement of the 3rd trying to hatred, “hardline position on illegal immigration as well as a desire to restrict legal immigration.”

The 6 paragraph is attempt to show that Sessions is outside mainstream again, “put Sessions and the cohort on the outside of most policy discussions”

and on and on and on.

Is it any surprise that the dems with their enablers among US Republican Senators delayed Sessions confirmation as long as possible? The goal was, of course, to cause chaos and along with that hopefully discredit AG Sessions. The maniacs (Schumer, Warren, Franken etc) desperation was extreme.

Now Sessions has been in charge for just a week, and things seem to be taking a good direction.

I've said this all along. Anyone who followed DJT's campaign closely knows how important Session and his team are for framing and implementing Trump policies.

I hope that once Attorney General Sessions Gets acclimated to his new job they start investigating the Crimes of the Obama Administration and The Clinton Crime Family foundation.

There a lot of crimes to investigate.

“What you’re talking about is a cabal of staffers, none of whom are elected, who have absolute power,” the advocate said anonymously in order to speak freely. “It’s profoundly concerning because these are a bunch of people who clearly couldn’t have cared less about bipartisan consensus, and they have what I consider an extreme ideological view and have now been empowered to enact that view.”

This “anonymous source” might as well be referring to Obama’s “cabal of staffers”, right? Obama’s cabal is out and Trump’s cabal is in. So what? That’s what winning elections does.

Just like the 'cabal' Obama installed during his 8 years. It's time to "suck it up, Buttercup and take your medicine."

The Obama DOJ was the most corrupt in American history. Terminate without delay. Obama wasted no time in firing Bush people, Sessions must do the same and not to forget the US attorneys all over the country.

I think that the immigration position that the voters are voting for, here, in Brexit, in Italy, and in Germany and apparently France is the mainstream position. The open boarders come in and enjoy our free stuff policy is the radical product of the global crony-capitalist and socialist alignment.

“Guess you could have said the same thing about the last 8 years then, couldn’t you?”

One difference though - this ‘cabal’ is only hated because they will enforce existing laws...rather than undermine them.

Well good. As they continue to shed ratings and credibility, they’ll be far fewer employees to get a morale boost.
