University of Wisconsin Students Demand ‘Full and Free Access for All Black People’

The student government at Wisconsin's most prominent university has passed legislation calling for "free and full access" to the school for "all black people" as reparations for what it describes as "systemic denial" of minorities from the "white supremacist" institution.

The resolution passed at University of Wisconsin-Madison was introduced by a group called "The Blackout Project," which argues that the "school is not inclusive, accessible, or affordable for Black students in Wisconsin" and that it knowingly benefits from "practices of exclusion and white supremacy."

Among the demands in the resolution is "full and free access for all black people," including "currently and formerly incarcerated people."

Sure, can’t wait to see it. Hordes of blacks filling the Calculus, Physics, engineering lectures. How many TA’s are they gonna need? The professor will have to hire other blacks to help them with their gradeskeeping. Turning out highly educated blacks four years from now will really be great for this country. Won’t need any more H1B visas....

So forty years of affirmative action and quotas did not work? What about the negative affects of forty years of leaving the best and brightest behind in order to put "minorities" ahead of the line?

Looks like a bunch of socialists wanting stuff for free.

Basically, everyone and their brother would approach the campus....confess they were black, and force tens of thousands of court cases. They’d bankrupt the state in a matter of a year or two.

And these students show that they are not intellectually prepared for university. If they are incapable of understanding that prospective students must show a certain level of academic aptitude in order to be accepted into a university, then the university needs to review and revise its admission criteria so that they do screen for academically prepared students.

University isn’t about socializing for four years. And a degree is not an automatic ticket to a high paying job. The problem is, the students described in the article think it is exactly that. I wonder how many of them are actually studying a major that gives them job skills?

“Just another prime example of “common core” learners from the public schools. Our tax dollars at work.”

Yeah; I have an idea. These students seem to be so generous when it comes to spending other people’s money. Well, how about an “adopt a black student” program? Each student in favor of free college for every black student be assigned financial responsibility for a black student? Full boat liability, tuition, room and board, drug and booze money, holidays at their parents house. Let’s make these snow flakes put some skin in the game, lol!

The University should offer free tuition to blacks who major in STEM courses.

If they want to pay for it, fine. But I’m not paying for it. I had to work my way thru college being a janitor and druvibpng a bus. Nothing is free.

Well. It didn’t take long to “educate” that group beyond their intelligence.

I have a better idea. All white students that support this should step aside and allow a black to take their place but continue to work and pay for their replacement’s education.

It is a win/win. You get to feel good and it does not cost the taxpayers anything.

I agree. In order to pay for it, every parent of every incoming snowflake freshman should be assessed a special reparations tax payable in cash (or on a credit card).

Loans available for those hard working parents to pay for their exorbitant privilege.

These dumbasses would be crying a different tune if they had to endure the minority quotas and affirmative action we went thru in the 70's and 80's.....Their only choice of education would likely be their respective community colleges.

I've always said of Obama and his college years, it was easier to keep him on the rolls and just pass him on than to flunk him and have to replace him with another minority......

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is not, and has not been, for a long time, dedicated to the betterment of the people of Wisconsin. It has been a hotbed for the embellishment and inoculation of “Progressives” into the greater society of the entire territory of what was once known as “the United States of America”, and they just keep tossing out wilder and more inappropriate “solutions” for problems that do not even exist, while denying the validity of other possible and much more ethical paths to ameliorating or even curing the continuous series of problems that crop up in the name of living from day to day.

For all that they cry about being “defunded” by the state legislature, the regents of the University of Wisconsin-Madison are actually at the center of a vast for-profit foundation, bullying and cowing a certain portion of alumni into support of dubious undertakings, and by BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement) tactics, force the agenda onto many agencies and entities that would not otherwise embrace them. There is a huge investment pool that the UW Foundation steers toward the “preferred” industries and agencies for research and publicity purposes, much of which is of no benefit to a representative republic. But they are whizzes at “democracy”.

I'd love to see the success rate on that.
