Over the last two weeks the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) has arrested nearly 700 people.
The new Homeland Security secretary John Kelly said: "These operations targeted public safety threats, such as convicted criminal aliens and gang members, as well as individuals who have violated our nation's immigration laws."
He went on: "...including those who illegally re-entered the country after being removed and immigration fugitives ordered removed by federal immigration judge."
But despite the description of these action as "routine" and "targeted", they have caused great fear in some of the country's immigrant communities who fear the raids will intensify and broaden in scope under the direction of Donald Trump.

Illegal immigrants are criminals and should fear the law as much as a thief.
Good ole’ MSM, doing its best to start a riot. Don’t think it’ll work, though. The illegal community is pretty savvy.
During the Bush years, there were phony roundup stories being circulated. At the height of the rumors, a Border Patrol officer decided to have lunch at a restaurant across from our Home Depot. Within minutes, the “free-lance workers” were gone. Ten minutes after he drove off, they were all back.
A buddy of mine decided to take a job in England, and had a similar experience. They showed up at his place of employment, drove him to his apartment to pack, then took him to the airport and put him on an outbound flight. No hearings, no processing, nothing... just “see ya”.
They don’t fear the raids enough. They ain’t gone yet!

I live in Oean County NJ. The town just west of me is Lakewood. The place at one time was very nice. In some twenty years illegals from Mexico have turned the place into a dump. The local paper here, The Asbury Park Press(owned by Ganett news) just loves illegals. They ran a front page story today about ‘’hundreds’’ of Mexican nationals protesting Trumps deportation raids. Come Monday the writer who posted the article is going to get call from me they will never forget.
That’s the way it should be though, but instead we have psychopaths in our government who believe not only should foreigners be allowed to stay illegally, but that we should also support them and allow them to stay as they plan marathon bombings and take flying lessons. Every freakin’ liberal who supports that has blood on their hands.
If you want to see a good movie, I recommend seeing the movie Patriots day. It’s about the Boston Marathon bombing and it really struck me how close they kept to the facts. I don’t know how anyone can watch that movie and come away still supporting the leftist agenda when it comes to “immigration”.

If you are an illegal alien invader, you should live in fear. All Citizens should call ICE to report these felons.
