Foreign-policy hawk Bill Kristol Tweeted out his preference for a political victory by “the deep state” above the nation’s laws and over President Donald Trump’s voters and policies, amid an increasing furor over the forced resignation of Gen. Mike Flynn.
Bill Kristol: "Obviously strongly prefer normal democratic and constitutional politics. But if it comes to it, prefer the deep state to the Trump state."

deep state

a body of people, typically influential members of government agencies or the military, believed to be involved in the secret manipulation or control of government policy.
Lois Lerner of the IRS is a good example. She did everything she could to hurt Conservative groups.
Another benefit of a Trump presidency is the exposure of these supposed conservatives like Kristol and other never Trumpers. They are showing themselves for what they really are — globalists and anti-Americans.
Which reminded me of the old saying - “When you let a camel stick it's nose inside the tent, the whole tent gets fleas!”

It is. However they hold more power than the President, Congress, and Supreme Court. They may even hold some or most of those positions within their power. But they are flailing right now, because there is a chance that the curtain may fall.
That’s why the all or nothing against Trump.
I get it makes a good outrage piece/clickbait, but I don’t see why Breitbart considers irrelevant Bill Kristol’s tweets to be worthy of an article.

The problem is no one knows who actually calls the shots. Even Clinton didn’t know. It’ll be hard to drain the swamp when you don’t know where the plug is located.
