Shepard Smith, the Fox News anchor, on Thursday afternoon seemed to have had enough of Donald Trump’s slams at the media as peddlers of “fake news” — or, when it comes to CNN, “very fake news.”
“It is crazy what we are watching every day, it is absolutely crazy,” Smith said. “He keeps repeating ridiculous throwaway lines that are not true at all and sort of avoiding this issue of Russia as if we are some kind of fools for asking the question.”
Smith then started to look into the camera and added, “Really? Your opposition was hacked, and the Russians were responsible for it, and your people were on the phone on the same day it was happening, and we are fools for asking those questions? No sir, we are not fools for asking those questions, and we demand to know the answer to this question. You owe this to the American people.”
Smith was defending CNN correspondent Jim Acosta.

It is a mistake to see this as no big deal. Many people who voted for Trump are what I’d call soft supporters. Those folks are vulnerable to this relentless propaganda. And it’s from Fox no less.
Tell people that 1+1=3 often enough, and many people start to believe it. So yes, this is a serious problem. Trump needs to appoint an effective point man here ASAP.

If I thought Trump and his team were involved with Russia trying to defeat Clinton at the polls, I would be against it. I would condemn them for it.
Poor Shep Smith can’t grasp that someone who was all in for Trump then and still is now, can be honest about this topic.
The MSM is the only entity that still clings desperately to the idea the Russians stole the election for Trump.
Lets ask this question. Why is that?
