Rush Limbaugh was a fence sitter during the primaries. He had his favorites and Trump clearly was not one of them.

To Rush’s credit, he recognized that hey, Trump could actually win and proceeded cautiously. But he never supported Trump in anything more than a notion or two.

Now that the cockroach survived Ragnarok, he’s climbed on the Trump bandwagon.

Rush was - at best he was lukewarm and on the bad days during the campaign Rush was AWOL - I listened, I participated he was not a rock solid supporter if a supporter at all - Rush was a Cruz guy he was smart enough not to go all in but "you don't get more of pure a conservative than Senator Ted Cruz" I'm paraphrasing-

Yesterday wasn't much of a Rush show as he JIPed most of the presidents news conference - not a criticism just that the Rush Limbaugh show yesterday was the president Donald Trump show except I had to jump to you tube because of the many commercials that litter Rush's show.

Maybe I've gotten older but I remember him being edgier, more spoof commercials just a better show - he still does a great job but its a bit flat - like I said maybe I've gotten older and what he talks about isn't as interesting to me - like football, ever since Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson couldn't figure out how to give Lynch the ball on the goal line to win the superbowl - I've lost interest.

Oh and then there was the revelation of Rush having lunch with Senator Lightweight Chuck Shumer.

I did not stop listening to Rush because of what he talks about. I stopped listening to him because of what he doesn't talk about.
