Exclusive Rand Paul: Repeal Now, Replace Now!
Big Government ^ | 2-16-17 | Rand Paul

Posted on 02/16/2017 12:10:18 PM PST by markomalley

Weak-kneed Republicans are starting to stammer, talk of delay and say we can’t repeal all of Obamacare. One GOP plan even keeps the Obamacare taxes. Another GOP plan says to blue states: “If you like Obamacare, you can keep it!” and red states will pay for it. Other GOP plans want to keep Obamacare subsidies but rename them refundable tax credits.

Conservatives need to unite behind immediate and complete repeal!

At the same time, conservatives need to rally to a plan that allows more people to buy insurance at a cheaper price. I have just such a plan, and it is gaining momentum.

We should not hesitate. Repeal and Replacement should happen as soon as humanly possible.

One line law: Effective five days after this is passed in law, the Affordable Care Act is repealed."

Anything else is an unacceptable compromise.

Good grief.

When the Democrats passed it, the Republicans said they couldn't stop it because they were the minority party in both houses.

When they won the House, they said they couldn't repeal it because the Democrats had the Senate and the White House.

When we gave them the Senate, they said they couldn't repeal it because the Democrat President would veto the bill.

Now we have a Republican House, Republican Senate, and an anti-Obamacare Republican in the White House. And guess what they're saying.

REPEAL OBAMACARE.

DON’T REPLACE it with another unconstitutional government program.

Let the supply and demand of the free market economy run our healthcare and everything else we buy and sell. Let the free market put American healthcare back as the world’s best where it used to be before the feds began rooting around in the 70’s.

Repeal NOW! “Replace” by removing any and all federal barriers. The constitution reserves this issue to the states and the people. The feds are forbidden to get involved!

if the ACA is repealed and replaced, no matter what, the Congress needs to be subjected to ALL of the laws they pass for the rest of us. President Trump or any US president for that fact should never sign any law that excludes the Congress or gives them special privileges over and above that of the American people.

Come on Congress!!! YOU HEARD US, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!!!

NO Barkycare, none, zip, notta, gone, over, finished!!!

We want Health Insurance that WE the American People can afford, we can buy insurance out of state, if we can get it cheaper, that we can choose our own policies of what we need and want and can change if we so need to do this...

What we DON'T need is the Government running OUR LIVES!!!

GET OUT OF OUR HEALTH INSURANCE AND GET OUT OF OUR BEDROOMS!!!!

“we can choose our own policies of what we need”

They are not going to let Brian Griffin get lung cancer only coverage at $12/month.

“reducing the sign up period to 45 days”

My plan only has open enrollment during the last whole months of a Presidential term and only if an issue fee is paid in September.

My extraordinary mandatory issue plans would have an $18,000 annual benefits cap - one hospitalization - use the coverage carefully.

Rand Paul’s plan allows the purchase of insurance across state lines and tax deductible HSA accounts....per an interview I heard of his, yesterday.

And, I am no YUGE Rand fan, btw.

Leadership has thus far been flaccid, especially in the case of Ryan who is a joke.

What better way for the Government to decide who lives and who dies than running our healthcare. Example, we’re forced to be on Medicare at age 65 even if we had excellent medical insurance as part of a retirement benefit. Medicare becomes your primary coverage; prior insurance becomes secondary. The secondary won’t pay if the primary won’t cover the procedure or surgery. One needs a procedure or care deemed necessary by their physician. Medicare (aka the Government) won’t cover it and refuses to pay. Your secondary won’t cover it at that point. End result, you pay if you can afford it. If not, you do without and possibly die!

What Medicare covers is changing all the time. Who decides on what they cover, politicians?
