NYC shut down a Chick-fil-A and people lost their minds

The Health Department shut down one of the Chick-fil-A’s in Midtown on Wednesday due to a permitting issue — and hungry New Yorkers were devastated.

“What the...?!,” fumed a passerby who attempted to enter the location at 46th Street and Sixth Avenue, only to be stopped by a pair of signs, saying it was closed.

At least in my city, In-N-Out and Chic Fil A pay their workers a couple of dollars an hour above the minimum wage. It shows. It is a pleasant experience to eat there. They have much higher quality workers than McDonalds and Jack-in-the-Box.

Chic Fil A and In-N-Out are more expensive than McDonalds. They don’t have a problem attracting customers willing to pay the higher prices, as the food and the dining experience (cleanliness, English speaking employees) are a step above the competition.

Closest Chick is 11 miles away, a little to far for a quick take out run. But a new location is under construction just one sweet mile away. Hello chicken sammie

Christian chicken does not include young girls or little boys.... Dem’s have those type of anti-religious preferences about their meat consumption.

So, I am wondering what this paperwork issue is. Does anyone know?

Not enough of these papers.

I’m still upset at Chick-fil-A because they stopped serving their Cole Slaw. I still eat there though. #;^)

Their batter tastes like it has sugar in it. I like it okay but I prefer Raising Cane’s. But I live the Cathy family’s convictions.

Son of one of our doctor clients in Texas attends NYU. Sent the son a CFA gift card for Christmas so he took a couple of his friends for lunch right after the one close to them opened. Said the line to get in was two deep and three blocks long. Guys all loved it, sent me a thank you note with a P.S. to “send more money next time”. Apparently they saved their tip money from their part-time jobs and ate there regularly, no longer frequenting their former quick food places.

Looks like CFA just got too popular.

I stopped driving through/going to Wendys. The very last time the gal on the speaker and at the window acted like I was putting her out, And the french fries, ice cold. Complained on-line and never got a response.
The young people at Chick-fil-A are always very friendly and the food is good.

The employees at Chic Fil A are extremely courteous and friendly. A smiling face does wonders. A helpful spirit is priceless. They have all that and a great product.

“Chic Fil A and In-N-Out are more expensive than McDonalds”

Around here, a chik-fil-A chicken sandwich is $2.99. A quarter pounder is $4.29. No mcdonalds “big” sandwiches are less than $4.

“I have always wanted to eat at an in n out burger!”

Their food is less than mediocre. Have never understood the fan club, of which my husband is a member.
