Trump needs to announce the purchase of tens of thousands of lie detectors and that every federal employee will be given a lie detector test starting at the top of each agency...Then we can collar the rats as they run out the doors and investigate each and every one of them!
There will also be plenty of jobs for janitorial staff, and underwear sales will go out the roof!!

I’d skip that step and proceed to the dismissal of every holdover from the previous administration.
Just hook up one lie detector to an electric chair and tell the questionee that if the needle pegs it will automatically trigger the “execute” switch.
Do it in a black op location.
Actually, they take a lot of skill to use. 80 percent of an interview is psychological. Without a skilled operator they can do more harm than good (missing a genuine mole).
Just a few would do the job.
Once you nail a few rats many of the others will head for the hills on their own.

there is new tech that relies om brain wave activity that is highly accurate. The traditional lie detector needed some one to interpret the answers to eliminate false positives .The new one doesn’t need a specially trained expert to interpret the results.

Lie detector tests are used for those with top secret and higher clearances. However, that means about halt of them, and of those most are done just once in their career. If you are in the intelligence community it is more common (top secret special compartmented information).
There simply isn’t enough people with the correct training to do all the testing as is. There is a huge push right now to restrict new TS/SCI clearances because of the current backlog of investigations, let alone getting wired up.
But as I have said earlier, if you get some actual vetted patriots in the intel community to lower the pool of potential leakers to the smallest number possible, then you can target the little b!st!rds more effectively. Imagine being a traitor in a targeted organization, they really will freak.
They do poly’s for special clearances and programs, not simply for a TS.
I’ve had a TS/SSBI since 1985 and never had a poly until 2000 when I was assigned to an agency near Wash DC that required a poly.
In my experience never heard of a poly being administered simply because you have a TS. If that was the case, my entire squadron would have been doing poly’s (and we didn’t).
Polys were never designed to be the end-all. . .they were there to serve as an investigation tool, a tool to be used if the background might indicate something. They are abused today.
One of the counter espionage poly’s I took I was asked if I planned to tell the truth (yes—no deception), and at the end I was asked if I told the truth (yes—no deception), then had the question asking me if I was concerned about anything we had not discussed (no—no deception). . . but the poly examiner went digging and digging, wouldn’t let it go.
I had nothing to hide and I asked why were they digging so hard. . .it was because my no deception responses means I MUST be lying somewhere.
When wired-up you start to recall all sorts of things. . .heck, I remembered stealing a small wooden hammer when I was about 3-yrs old. . .had to admit to it (”Other than what you have told me, have you EVER. . . “).
And Catholics have the highest false-positive rates, you know, that original sin thing and the belief that you committed a sin sometime in your life but maybe not recall it, but you have done so. . .
