Tuesday at the White House press briefing, while answering questions about the resignation of Michael Flynn as National Security Adviser, press secretary Sean Spicer said part of the story ignored is leaks by government employees. Those employees he explained were entrusted with national security secrets, and that he argued undermined national security and was a real concern President Donald Trump.
Spicer said, Understand that all of this information was leaked. I mean, again, I know weve got this me lecturing to you about what the stories should be, but I think theres a real story here. The idea that not just in this administration but the Obama administration going back to the Bush administration. We have an issue where classified information, of which this would be, is handled in such a way that it is been given out. I know in some cases its a good story and I understand that, and thats to some degree your responsibility to write that. I think theres also a story here with the amount of leaks coming out that people are entrusted with national security secrets in classified information are leaking it out. Thats a real concern for this president.

That does not mean it is not a B$ cover story.

Cover story for WHAT? Flynn resigned (was fired) because he LIED to the VP....PERIOD! This has nothing too do with whether he did or did not speak to the Russians about things he should not have. He claims he broke no laws and I have no reason, absent evidence that he did so.
Lied about what exactly?
This isn’t about who lied to whom.
This is about who leaked this information from a private conversation.
Unless that is, you’re a dem/RINO troll who is okay with espionage if it means you score some points against President Trump.
WTH? FLYNN TOLD VP HE DID NOT DISCUSS sanctions with Rssians.
Turns out hedid and Flynn himseld admitted “misleading” (lying)to the VP. That is why he was asked to resign. I have said nothing about leaks from withn the WH.
Personally I think they should be tracked down and shot.
Thanks for the information - I did not realize they were subject to polygraphs. Is that something that is done on a regular basis or something that is just a possibility but is never done?
It’s not a perfect tool - but it is the best one in the box. (poly).
It’s done on an as-needed basis, when suspicion arises.
