It’s all in the temperature now. If there is a low snow elevation run off now will be much less... But more later. When it rains days of draining will be made up in hours. And for spring melt they have a limit on the level they can drop since hydro plant is down.

I have become a horrible person. I actually sort of want to see the dam break just so it washes out a bunch of damn liberal Hillary supporters

You have a lot to learn about California.

The liberals are along the coast.
Conservatives are inland.

But this can’t be true. I thought that the “climate scientists” said that Kalifornistan was in a state of permanent drought due to globull warming.

They have put their fortunes on high speed rail

The high speed rail is not actually intended to be built. It's just a method for transferring money from the taxpayers to liberal friends of the liberal regime in Kalifornistan.

I have read elsewhere that there has been a problem with this dam for ten years and the officials chose to ignore the problem and instead spent their money on social programs that benefited illegals. Well I say no federal funds. Let them learn how to properly budget.

Maybe someone there should have taken the opportunity to start building an arc.

To that I would offer the friendly advice, which I often need to be reminded of myself:

Be careful what you wish on others lest the same, or something worse, should befall you or someone you love.

IOW "Vengeance is mine, sayeth The Lord."

Watching those helicopters dropping the bags of rock looks like running back and forth with one grain of sand at a time to block the overflow on a goldfish tank.

Hope it all works out.

Ping.

From # 8.

>>>>the 4 inches per hour is a foot every three hours. Monday morning to Wednesday morning is 48 hours divided by 3 hours = 16 feet draw down. Not quite the 50 feet they wanted.

Hopefully the 50 feet is a conservative estimate.

“Okay guys, we can get by with 15 feet of draw-down, but lets have a safety factor of three and try to get it to about 50 feet.”<<<<
