There are a LOT of people who love seeing a boot on someones neck. On FR many talk about an overbearing Federal government then cheer when some pothead gets busted and his property gets confiscated and his dog gets shot. I think a lot of it is religious for some reason although Cannabis was once one of the most commonly used medicines and no one protested it.

It’s human nature. People don’t really want freedom. If the Federal government actually restricted itself to its Constitutional powers, most FReepers would crap their pants.
