I am reading that the great border WALL will cost more than the government originally thought, but I have not gotten involved in the.....
...design or negotiations yet. When I do, just like with the F-35 FighterJet or the Air Force One Program, price will come WAY DOWN!
If Mexico was smart, they would be happy President Trump will be cutting the cost of the wall because they will be paying for it.
They should be grateful that he is negotiating on their behalf!

I remember a calculation that the federal government spends $4 billion a day. So five days spending would pay for the wall.
I just saw on Twitter someone bringing up the idea of a GoFundMe for The Wall. Think about it. You could say “And I helped build it”.
But the wall will save the jails, and other public social service agency even more billions
Your comment reminds me of something I saw on Fakebook a few weeks ago. A teen-aged extended family member was reposting someone else’s comment.
The comment, apparently from another drama queen teen, was bemoaning the fact that Trump has promised to defund NPR. She said that she did not want this to happen because it was important to keep music education in school and that sports instead of music should be cut.
Willing to bet that the original poster was fed this lie and mangled logic by a teacher.
These are estimates.....if they bid it out it should be cheaper...if it is cost plus it could be 42 billion....

Consider all cost estimates as “BT” (Before Trump) until you hear it from him.
Maybe something like
“This 10 Mile Investment in the Security and Future of the United States of America was a Gift to the American People by (Ford Motor Company)”

I agree, the cost of the wall will be easily pay for itself in welfare, education and cost of crime that illegals are costing us.
Trump makes the “New Normal”, on-time and under budget for government projects.
That estimate is from the Obama era.
