20 metro areas are home to six-in-ten unauthorized immigrants in U.S.

Most of the United States’ 11.1 million unauthorized immigrants live in just 20 major metropolitan areas, with the largest populations in New York, Los Angeles and Houston, according to new Pew Research Center estimates based on government data.

The analysis shows that the nation’s unauthorized immigrant population is highly concentrated, more so than the U.S. population overall. In 2014, the 20 metro areas with most unauthorized immigrants were home to 6.8 million of them, or 61% of the estimated nationwide total. By contrast, only 36% of the total U.S. population lived in those metro areas.

But the analysis also shows that unauthorized immigrants tend to live where other immigrants live. Among lawful immigrants – including naturalized citizens and noncitizens – 65% lived in those top metros.

By far the biggest unauthorized immigrant populations were in the New York and Los Angeles metro areas (1.2 million and 1 million, respectively). No other metro area approached a million. Among the top 20 areas, the smallest unauthorized immigrant populations included Orlando (110,000) and Austin (100,000).

Those cities would be a good place to start looking for voter fraud.

I want someone to check to see if #1 deportation of Guadalupe in Arizona voted in the last election. She has been here since she was 14. She got married after she got here but haven’t seen if her husband is illegal. She has teenage anchor babies.

When an article starts off with the 11.1 million illegal alien figure, I stop reading.

We had nine million illegals here in 2000. They had accumulated over the prior ten years.

Now we’re supposed to buy off on the idea that in 1.6 times as much time, only 1/8th as many folks came over.

Not buying it...

We traveled to Houston last week; on the airport shuttle to the rental car place, the Chamber of Commerce propaganda show touted how one in four residents of Houston had been born outside the United States.

She married an illegal alien. Now I don’t know if he still is illegal, but I suspect he is as well.

They had to go and ruin Colorado.

This state has evolved into the Front Range cities on the flat and the mountain and plains areas. Through in the universities and you get a state that went for Hillary.

Time to drain the swamp around here, too.

Amazing how that number hasn’t changed in two decades, despite consistent reporting on the swarms pouring over the border every year.

Notice: every single city on the list is:

Democrat-controlled.

There's a reason these scum want "home rule" in their big cities. It's so they can create little pockets of communism right inside the United States, completely ignoring the Constitution therein.

If they’re legal, I’d have no problem with that 1 in 4 number; since many/most are most likely not, I do.

Bet they overlay exactly with Democrat county/city/borough majorities. I betcha! I dare the bet! Takers?

Those 20 area solely responsible for the Democrat popular vote, IMO.

Word is she had been deported to Nogales, Mexico

But don't worry. She will cross the border again. I have no sympathy. Beat it. Make a life in Mexico

These total to a little more than 6.75 million. I don’t believe it. The distributions might be the same but my bet is the liberal dogma is at work here and trying to hold the whole country distribution and total to 12 million or under. I JUST DO NOT BELIEVE IT.
