I have no use for May. She’s been sniping at Trump since she returned to London. As someone else said, I guess she doesn’t want any trade deals. Also, she dresses like a woman of 35. I believe she’s about 60-62.

I think your conclusions are valid. The problem is Academia is not driven by logic and reason, really; it is driven by publicity, grants, donations and contracts.
Similarly the same for media but with a different benefits - fame, notoriety, and awards/recognition -— and lots of money for those successful at rousing the most attention.
Did she close her statement by shouting ‘Allah Akhbar!!’?

Granted the materialists will almost always end up in control--Stalin over Trotsky, for example. That does not mean that we can simply ignore the proffered assault on reality that provides the rationale for social destruction.
I think I really do understand your ken on the most basic characteristics of the idle elite. But I still think it is the most vocal and materialist (ideological or financial) that end up getting the attention (and the grease on that squeaky wheel)..... thanks.
