I think his point is that immigrants (white or otherwise) have traditionally been hungrier when they first get here and thus work harder.
I don’t think it’s an unfair generalization.
And even though I’m strongly against illegal migration (for rule of law reasons), I believe that the illegals and their descendents here will eventually be very successful simply because of the genes they possess that gave them the initiative, toughness, smarts, and hard work to overcome the obstacles in front of them.

I have detested Kristol for a very long time. Whenever I saw him on TV he had that smarmy, I know everything and am superior to all of you, look and smile.
Kristol is a low-life human who is an elitist who thinks we should all be his serfs and beg for scraps from him and his friends. He runs around telling the nation that he and his buddies are the real conservatives but they are really so far against our Constitution, freedom, and liberty they side with the autocrats.
If Kristol had even a modicum of common sense--let alone a modicum of common decency, after his virulent campaign against Donald Trump--he would realize how inappropriate are these comments from any "journalist" claiming to be an American. President Trump was better off with Kristol's hatred than his support.

There is no secret as to where the Bill Kristols have stood on the survival of American culture, values & continuity of purpose.
No social services met them handing out freebies either. They used to talk about being born with a silver spoon, today illegals and refugees are met with a support system like no other, pretty close to a silver spoon.
