Kraft also expressed confidence in the Trump administration:

Tim Thomas boycotted Obama after being the MVP of the Bruins Stanley Cup run in 2011 and the reaction by the media was a bit different.
At the time, Thomas was one of the most iconic and beloved sports figures in town - along with Ortiz, Brady, etc. The media absolutely trashed him and ran him out of town.
Now we have McCourty who is the D captain and a decent safety but wouldn’t make any Boston sports fans list of all time greats, and Bennett (basically a rental on a one year deal) and the media is calling for everyone to stand united.
