The Senate on Tuesday confirmed Betsy DeVos to lead the Department of Education by the slimmest of margins, capping off a rocky, high-stakes fight for President Trump's pick.

Correction (I check since I rarely believe what I read on Twit), the vote was to limit debate. Confirmation tomorrow.
Which twitter?
FANTASTIC!
Just read that cloture vote passed, actual vote tomorrow. I don’t have time to double check, but saw this link:

Sessions’ confirmation vote set for Wednesday
Near 100% likely
OK, this frees up Sessions to get confirmed now. #NotTiredOfWinning.
I read too fast to notice who wrote...probably Sarah Grady?...anyway ‘twas a procedural vote, the actual confirmation tomorrow.
My wife has some friends that are teachers. They need medicated after this.
That is what I have been saying.
But it takes more effort now than it did a couple of weeks ago.
That may be so; this allows Collins to be ‘independent’ which Maine voters seem to like. Like West Virginia, Maine in many ways seems to be shifting right If they can reduce the number of government employees they’ll move more in that direction.
I would love to be present when DeVos enters her offices for the first time, watching the liberal exploding heads and eye rolling seizures all around.
Housecleaning! WOW!
This was the Dem’s wheelhouse at stake. Teacher’s unions, indoctrination, major funding, etc.
I pray President Trump and Sec DeVos move forward aggressively with needed changes and kick the corrupt education system in the teeth.
Thats great and I hope soon Betsy DeVos and Trump begin dismantling the unconstitutional Dept of Education.
Just Loving all this Winning :-))
I can't tell which one of them is that sitting there, but surely one of them!
GLORIOUS
School choice! Oooyaaaah! Sing it, Satchmo.
***Praise God... move on to Sessions now!!!***
Agreed. Enough of this bs. We need an attorney general ASAP, especially him. I realize these other appointments are important, but not as important as his. McConnell needs to grow a damn spine and muscle his people into casting their yea vote, you know, like a real Senate leader.
