Good. Get her on all the Sunday talk shows this weekend. Not only will that rub the libs nose in it but she can start articulating her plans for the schools and show she’s nobody’s fool.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a calculated show vote for Collins and Murkowski, knowing the other pubs would hang tough.”
That vote allowing the two Pub women to vote NO, was pre-planned by the Pubs before the vote was ever taken. They do this all the time, knowing exactly how many YES votes they are going to get, and that Pence would cast the tie-breaking vote.
The Pubs “allowed” the two NO votes because of the liberal propensities of the states the women come from, and the alliances with their teacher constituents who could otherwise make life miserable for them at re-election time if they voted YES. So this was an agreed upon vote by the Pubs.
Both sides (Dems/Pubs) do head counts and then figure out how many of their members in shaky political states or districts with large constituencies backing specific issues, can vote in the negative, just as long as it won’t affect the outcome of the actual vote. That’s politics.
I thought Joe Manchin would have Voted Yes at the last minute.
Nice to know that all the time, effort and Political Capital the Democrats put into this resulted in failure.
I sure hope she can do something about the systematic liberal indoctrination in our public schools .
That is why Dems feel so threatened by Devos ,,, they may lose their most effective indoctrination tool .
And a postage stamp sized hanky.

I was with two childhood friends this week ,who are both retired teachers, and they were beside themselves over DeVos. I taught for a short period of time in the late 60’s and early 70’s and I couldn’t be happier.
