I got out on time with a 93% grade average..they got out a few months late with a grade average somewhere in 70%
I got a $6.50 an hour bench tech job at Raytheon (in part because I’m an amputee i had few job offers).. they both got $15.00 and hour field service jobs with Data General. Affirmative action for women in tech was in Vogue
In 84 at Raytheon there was a field service position open..myself and my best buddy at work (who is black) both applied for it.. and the Company still went outside and hired a women for it
