Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Sunday tacitly criticized President Trump for blasting a federal judge for ruling against an executive order barring visitors from seven predominantly Muslim countries.

McConnell said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that it is “best to avoid criticizing judges individually.”

Trump lashed out at Judge James Robart of the Western District of Washington, an appointee of President George W. Bush, after he ruled against the order on refugees and travelers from Iraq, Syria and other predominantly Muslim counties.

McConnell and Ryan, the two best people the Democrats could have chosen to block true full out activism to reach our goals.

What need is there to make your own side block things, when you can get the other side’s leaders to do it for you?

McConnell and Ryan MUST BE REPLACED, in their leadership positions.

They simply ARE NOT in it to win it. At least not for us they aren’t.

McConnell: 'Best to avoid criticizing judges individually'

So our majority "leader" says that one should not criticize terrible judicial decisions.

Folks, the swamp appears to be undrainable.

Asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper whether he would support passing legislation to uphold Trump’s order, McConnell said it is a matter best left to the courts.

“I don’t know that that’s necessary. The courts are going to decide whether the executive order the president issued is valid or not and we all follow a court order,” he said.

That's a big part of the problem. McConnell is accepting that the courts (unelected judges) are the supreme power and the sole arbiters of what is constitutional.

It is time for McConnell to hang up his majority-ship and turn it over to someone who can get the job done. The judge’s FU is not just against Trump but against the U.S. Congress.

Looks to me that our side is going to need to protest the House and the Senate.

We have only known that since the GOPe self-serving rebellion against Gingrich's contract with America.

No Mitch best to point them out when their ruling is totally unconstitutional.

On the contrary: This judge exceeded his authority in many areas. He needs to be impeached and removed.

How’s that for “individual criticism”?

He's an activist Judge who made a decision based on politics. Looks like the Plaintiffs did a great job shopping for this Judge. As far as the legal basis, some of it is laughable.

From the ruling;

The States have established a likelihood of irreparable injury and that a TRO is in the public interest.

Implementation of the Executive Order "would undermine the constitutional imperative of a Uniform rule of Naturalization and Congress' instruction that the immigration laws of the United States should be enforced vigorously and uniformly".

I disagree. Many judges are agenda pushing political hacks who sorely need to have attention called to them. Impeaching a few of the hacks once they are identified would be nice, but Republicans will never have the spine to do it.
