Passions were running high last Saturday. The day before, Donald Trump had issued an executive order cracking down on immigration. Protests followed, filling airports and city streets.
On Saturday, a pro-immigration protest was hastily organized in downtown St. Louis. Lindsey Teall and Jake Night, two performers who live in the neighborhood, didn't even know it was happening until they almost drove right into it. Now they say that chance encounter has turned into a nightmare

Entrapping a motor vehicle and threating its passengers is a stupid game to play. Play stupid games....
Anarchy sucks
If you block my only path of egress, that is false imprisonment. I ha e the right to escape by any means necessary.
No one is under any obligation to stay in the midst of a violent demostration and endanger their family. If your life and safety are threatened, you do whatever you have to do to mitigate it. If someone chooses to block your egress, whatever happens to them is completely on them.
And the responsibility for “children” being at the protest lies squarely on the shoulders of those who brought them.
They didn’t join the team and disrupted the lefty thugs.
That is not tolerated.
These protests are going to get very violent soon.
Enough is enough!
“False imprisonment” is a legal term used in civil cases and does not embrace the concept of allowing one the right to escape “by any means necessary.”
I’m not so sure; these fairies are lightweights compared to BLM-types (and blacks seem to have a “wait-and-see” attitude with Trump). Eventually they’ll realize Trump doesn’t care what they say and go back to their meaningless lives.
I keep wondering, why these people aren’t charged with false imprisonment. Blocking a person’s path clearly meets the definition, in California at least.
Anyone that stays in the midst of a violent protest with those idiots is crazy.
I wonder if these two were liberals before, and after, this incident?
i bet they are all for the rioters except that THEY got inconvenienced and scared of their own monster...
BTTT.
The thug that originally posted the photo on the Internet should be arrested and charged for putting this family in danger. This is BULLYING at the least. The thug basically put out a hit on the family.
If they're ok with it, then I'm almost ready to say they got what they deserved, but the children don't deserve it. To continue to live there, is putting their children at risk.
Shaken, they called the cops almost immediately. The officer told them that so long as everything was as they'd described it, there was no need for a formal report.
Heck, no. I'd be filing report after report. But then I'm not so tolerant of protesters taking over my neighborhood and putting my children in danger.
Again, you can’t be “charged” with false imprisonment. You can be sued for it by the victim. Maybe a lawyer will chance along and tell us what crime was committed.
Because some people have difficulty identifying leaders of pack animals.
Alpha, comes forward, winds then up, betas follow.
They get heat and retreat
The second tier alphas and betas rise..
Lather rinse repeat
