Notice this review of Dodd-Frank is an executive action, not an executive order. An EO has the force of law and stays in effect unless it’s overturned by a court of law or countermanded by a succeeding president. An EA, on the other hand, is more like a wish list. It’s the president saying “I’d like this to happen,” but it doesn’t have the force of law.
