The change followed a weeks long boycott campaign, organized by Trump activist group called, "GRAB YOUR WALLET". The group demanded the department store giant cease doing business with the president or his family. Shannon Coulter, who runs GRAB YOUR WALLET, celebrated Nordstrom's decision as a milestone the campaign.
I just cancelled my account with Nordstrom along with an explicit memo.
Nordstrom will suffer at the cash register.
I nearly never shopped there anyway, but will absolutely never shop there now.
I emailed them this morning; I don’t expect to get a reply except some pablum that they did it because of lagging sales. Neither side believes them no matter what they say so they have stepped in it.
Just bought some stuff from the Rack. Still had tags on, taking back today.
No matter what you think of DJT, you don’t mess with the I-Woman. Bad choice by Nordstrom.

If I remember correctly, Macy took a left turn after Trump pulled his tie line and hasn’t recovered yet. My guess is they will fold within a couple of years. I wish the same for Nordstroms.

Let them know this morning I will no longer be shopping at their stores. I spend a lot of money there. I am happy to spend it elsewhere.
Query Nordstrom’s customer service and follow the links. Their email is an internal box on their website that opens up when you want to write them. They will ask for your email for a reply.
Nordstrom is already hurting. And they are a Seattle company so they are probably feeling a lot of pressure from their back office staff to do this.
A friend of mine was CIO for a little over a decade. He moved on a few years ago and I’ll bet he’s glad he did.
