This has no effect on me!
I don’t buy any produce from Mexico because they allow use of human POO for fertilizer.
Tequila is the worst tasting alcohol in the universe, and I had a high end $50 shot of it and it still tasted like crap. So I stand by this. In a margarita its acceptable.
Corona is the worst tasting beer in the universe, it requires lime to prevent the gag reflex.
There are literally a thousand American beers now thanks to the local brewing revolution, I can drink USA beer and never touch a Mexican beer again.
Spot on.
California avoados are FAR superior to Meheeco’s poo watered ones.
You can make your own chips by cutting up corn chips and frying them.
Seriously?? :-O
I go out of my way to avoid produce from Mexico, too, but I've never heard about this before...
The worst-tasting distilled spirit beverage I ever drank was Four Roses whiskey--and it's supposed to be great. Almost as bad is Pyrate rum, which is expensive.
Give me Iwai whiskey from Japan and Barbancourt rum from Haiti.
I'm not a big tequila fan, but I like margaritas.

Moskovskaya beer, which was ubiquitous in Moscow when I visited there in 1972 was the worst I have ever had. If you wanted good beer in Moscow, you had to seek out Stella, an Egyptian beer. Seems Egypt was sending beer to the Soviet Union in exchange for missiles and military hardware to fight Israel. But now that the USSR is history, Moskovskaya may may no longer be brewed.

American beer drinkers today are in hog heaven.
I was out to dinner with friends last night, a rare occasion of late, hadn’t seen them in over a year. We tried a new place, had a great time, seated in an indoor-outdoor space that could be enclosed and heated with a huge fireplace, seated right in front of it. They had a special on Patrón, $6.00 rocks with a lime wedge, so we ordered a round and then a second round before dinner. It was excellent, very mild, faintly peppery. None of the harshness or peculiarity of some tequilas. It’s filtered like the better vodkas are. I’d hate to pay the freight to buy a whole bottle, but it was nice.
Exactly. I am a member of Costco and check all fruit and vegetables before I buy. I WILL NOT buy any food from Mexico, South American countries, China, Vietnam, etc. I don’t trust them. I will buy US, Canada, South Korea, Japan, European countries and Israel.
High price doesn’t guarantee good tequila, only this number does; 1800. Corona is as bad as Shock Top, I recommend Modelo. Not a big deal, add the 20%.
They came up with the lime thing because the beer was always skunky. I can think of a lot of good domestic brews I'd rather drink.
