I briefly went through the complete transcript at Fortune, and the ABC transcript, which is considerably shorter. Then I looked again at the top of the ABC site, and it says: Below is a transcript of the interview.

So I believe there are verbatim transcripts and summary transcripts. Is this common knowledge? What is the industry standard when it comes to the use of the word "transcript"?

Did ABC actually think no one would notice the omission from the transcript? Two reasons not to trust the MSM — their dishonesty and their stupidity.
