Whatever else they said I hope they mentioned that he would be paying for this rescue.

And BTW, I assume insurance doesn’t cover the cost of repairing or replacing the vehicle.

I wonder if the vehicle remained on the jetty or if it got washed off.

If the guy asked about rescuing his vehicle the rescuer should have just accidentally dropped him into the ocean.
