Why Do Democrats Fear Trump's Probe of "Fake" Voter Fraud?

Political scientist Jesse Richman of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, has worked with colleagues to produce groundbreaking research on noncitizen voting, and this week he posted a blog in response to Mr. Trump’s assertion.

Based on national polling by a consortium of universities, a report by Mr. Richman said 6.4 percent of the estimated 20 million adult noncitizens in the U.S. voted in November. He extrapolated that that percentage would have added 834,381 net votes for Mrs. Clinton, who received about 2.8 million more votes than Mr. Trump.

I read about another survey that stated 18% of the illegals voted. that would push it to something over 3.6 million (based on 20 million illegals)

Yes, that was the study I cited in post # 83, the one discussed on yesterday's Lou Dobbs show. Apparently I made an error there, thinking that the group in the study was illegal aliens only, rather than all non-citizens.

But intuitively, I would think that the rate of voting among the illegal aliens would be much greater than the rate of voting among aliens in the country legally. Though voting by either group in USA elections is clearly a violation of existing US law, the latter group would have more to lose if they were discovered committing such a crime, and so would be more reluctant to do so in general.
