Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Friday evening lambasted President Trump's executive order that enhances screening procedures for refugees and immigrants.
"Tears are running down the cheeks of the Statue of Liberty tonight as a grand tradition of America, welcoming immigrants, that has existed since America was founded has been stomped upon," Schumer, a Democrat from New York, said in a statement. "Taking in immigrants and refugees is not only humanitarian but has also boosted our economy and created jobs decade after decade. This is one of the most backward and nasty executive orders that the president has issued."
Trump is expected to tighten protocols for visa programs in Muslim-majority countries, including Iran, Sudan, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Yemen and Iraq. The order may suspend refugee admissions from those nations for four months until the administration makes a conclusion about which post the greatest risk to national security. Trump has said Islamic State terrorists could pose as refugees in order to travel to the U.S. to carry out a terrorist attack.

Exactly. When immigrants came over in our nation’s early history, their entry was strictly regulated. Each immigrant was given a rigorous scrutiny for a list of standards. Those who failed were shipped back to their country of origin. We may have been a generous nation, but it was not generous stupidity. Why do we forget that!
Oh yes! We did have a wall. The wall was the great expanse of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. It certainly was a wall than no one could tunnel under or climb over. And hell, why did it take little me to think of that?
My ancestors came here legally as well. In fact, most ours did. I wasn’t until Liberals ean roughshod over the laws that have just ignored borders.
The DemonRAT Marxists, in order to register the illegals for the vote, are willing to shove those candies down our throats. The trouble is, America is on to their tactics and are ready to shove pitchforks in their DemonRAT asses and toss them out of office like chunks of cow manure.
When our taxes pay for these DemonRAT illegal voters as they use up more and more social services, they will say the rising cost of government requires we shell out more taxes. Yet, DemonRATs are screaming that with Trump’s tax on products coming from Mexico it will raise the price of products we buy. They are afraid producers will pass the cost of the tax to the consumer. Wow! This has been going on for years! These DemonRATs are finally getting the picture!

If I were Trump, I’d chisel that Emma Lazarus socialist clap-trap off the statue’s pedestal. It didn’t come with the statue, has nothing to do with liberty, and is a prog abomination.
Trump is not blocking immigrants. He’s blocking people from countries where terrorism is being sponsored.
